The Winery

The San Lorenzo Winery extends to an area of almost 45 acres, 35 acres of which are GAVI D.O.C.G. vineyards.

Once belonging to the Marquis Raggio d'Azeglio, the Winery was acquired by the current owners in 1967. The Marquis d'Azeglio, together with other renowned families in the region, such as Cambiaso, Serra, Spinola and Sartorio, started this specialized plantation, which marked the modern era in the making of Gavi.

Combining modern technologies with a profound respect for the environment, the Winery produces only wine from its own grapes, using soft pressing and refrigeration without using any chemicals. Every phase in the production follows a precise work plan dictated by experience and knowledge of the wine-makers.
